A key
aspect of authentic car culture is receiving the gifts
of wisdom and shared experiences that are conveyed from
one generation to the next. The "fabric" of this
social dimension of car culture is "sewn" across the
generations when stories are told or lessons of life are
shared, whether sitting around cars in the home or shop
garage, or at car events. It can only be one step
better when you visit with a person at the very setting
where their story took place: a race track, a
neighborhood, or a work place. In the case of this
video with automotive historian, author and former
Packard test driver and product engineer, Michael
Kollins, we join him at the very Packard plant where his
career began more than half a century ago
